Cometicand other hose hold items cruelty

Did you know that many shampoos, cosmetics, and cleaning products ext. Are tested on animals regularly? Tons of personal care products go through different procedures even before the item has is put on the shelf. Animals being tested for pharmaceuticals are even more dangerous. Animals are being intentionally given a disease to see how they react to it (positively or negatively) or whether or not if the drug has serious side effects. The animals being tested can end up having tumors or other such diseases .The scientist examine them before sometimes them intentionally killing them.
On an understanding level ethics seems to dictate that humans want to use harsh chemicals for the use of cosmetics, and other house hold products used on a daily basics. Scientists and pharmaceuticals should be able to conduct human test subjects that undergo the safety tests. What’s the difference to go through the same test the laboratory animals have done, if the humans have already done but, just
After the animals have already gone through it.

Fairness and alternatives
Many years ago the society had an outrage over exposes, about abusing animals being used for experimental use only. Many Companies banned the use of testing animals for their products. Did that just stop selling the products? No. they instead they came up with non- harmful ways to test their products for example, eye irritation a newly  discovered medicine could now be tested on a on a donated human retina.
Many products still test on animals. Some activists are all agonist and other are okay with the three r rules
1.      Replace the use of animals in scientific procedures with non-animal alternatives whenever possible;
2.     Reduce the number of animals used in any animal-testing procedure;
3.     Refine procedures so that animals experience less pain, suffering, or discomfort.
How far should they go?
At this point in time there is nothing dangerous found in shampoos, detergents , and other house hold. When Companies discover something new within  any of those areas , if their might be danger in the product .The manufacture should use scientifically sound  non-animal testing products or just a safer ingredient all together .

Pesticides present another huge question requiring animal testing. When setting a safety limit for humane exposure for as a particular compound or element F.D.A requires extra safety factors above even the level shown to be extremely hazardous for lab animals.

Pesticide manufactures have proposed testing their chemicals on humans  rather than animals to determine a “more precise” levels of safer exposed hoping that human levels would give them better results .  http://www.grinningplanet.com/2004/10-12/cosmetics-animal-testing-article.htm
